Building on UpScale’s four years of experience, the presentation will show, through specific case studies, how to make modern (even open source) technological solutions enterprise compatible.
The speaker will first give an overview of the main challenges that enterprise IT leaders are facing today, and then put them in context by highlighting the complexity and diversity of the Cloud Native Landscape. He then will use three examples (Cassandra, KAFKA and Prometheus-Grafana pair) to illustrate the applicability of these innovations – i.e. that the latest solutions can be adapted to the logging, authentication and security concerns of the enterprise.
Based on this idea, and stressing the importance of a change of approach to IT, the speaker will draw our attention to the need for a revolutionary renewal of the entire technological stack and the potentials in a complex approach. Finally, business results will be presented (and quantified in financial terms) that will make tangible the benefits that an IT mindset change can bring to an enterprise – especially in terms of GoToMarket as a competitive advantage.
