Azure Cloud Application Engineer

In this role, you will play a critical part in preparing and executing the migration to the cloud, with a special focus on implementing/adjusting comprehensive monitoring solutions. You will work closely with a dynamic team currently using Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace tools to ensure a smooth transition and robust monitoring capabilities. Your expertise in Terraform and a strong operational background will be crucial to the success of this project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute cloud migration strategies with a focus on monitoring implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing infrastructure and propose solutions.
- Utilize core understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace for monitoring and ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Ensure all cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and integrate them into the client’s environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, focused on Prometheus, Grafana, and preferably Dynatrace.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Operational background with a focus on cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
